Mexico Kids Day

Saturday, September 12

Day 2 of our time in Mexico wrapped up to be an Awesome day for the Lord!!

We started our morning off preparing things for the event: sound equipment, putting up tarps and making sure we had the bags to hand out for the kids.

Boy Smiling

This boys smile shows the joy these kids have in their hearts. The event started at 4 pm and the Lord decided it needed to rain. It began raining around 3 and we only had short times of no rain. But we did not let that stop us, the Lord had work to do!

The event started at 4 pm and the Lord decided it needed to rain. It began raining around 3 and we only had short times of no rain. But we did not let that stop us, the Lord had work to do!

As the music played the kids began to show up. Several of the young ladies had their clown faces on and engaged the kids in song and dance. It was a joy to see their smiling, happy faces.

Steve and I shared a word and I also was able to SIGN (American Sign Language) to a Spanish song. The kids seemed to enjoy it and caught on quickly to the Signs.

Chuy gave a word from the Bible and the children prayed to receive Jesus. Their hearts were open and they were happy to receive. The young ladies handed out the bags we had prepared which contained a pencil with Christ loves you in Spanish written on it, a pencil sharpener, Spanish Christian stickers, candy and a Spanish Christian tract.

What an honor to be a part of this time with these kids and share the love of Jesus.

Right after the event we drove about 20 miles south to Dieziocho de Marz0 to a tent revival. The pastor who preached was from the US. He preached in Spanish and English because he knew we were there. WOW did his message hit home for Steve and I. He talked about the church, missionaries and pastors coming alive and going out to speak the gospel with no fear. It was around 7 pm when we arrived and we left at the end of the revival around 10:00.

We are so thankful and blessed to have each day to serve an amazing God! Thank you Jesus!

Blessings to you all in the precious name of Jesus,

Steve and Tonyia Williams
