The growing mass of lone children and even young families in the Texas Rio Grande Valley indicates how desperate the situation is in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. There once was a people group who were given a land with all the resources needed for lives of comfort. Those people were also given a set of guidelines showing how to live free together in peace during times of prosperity or poverty.
